Part cards

Every dropped drawing becomes a card: preview, name, quantity. Everything is set ON the card:

  • the quantity — the counter, 0 to 999; a card from a .job arrives with its own, read from the file;
  • Scale — the exact factor (×25.4 for inches taken for millimetres); the applied-scale finding stays on the card, and “Reset” returns to the original size;
  • Explode — for a multi-part drawing: detaches every part so each nests on its own. By default the drawing stays a RIGID BLOCK the engine moves and never takes apart. Exploding is irreversible for that card — the confirmation says so in one line.

A card from a .job carries its origin chip and, when there are any, its findings:

A .job card: chip, findings, quantity, scale

Clicking the card opens the card in full: the enlarged preview — for a .job, the enriched preview with the lead-in path and the pierce point — and the complete findings, one line per finding with its level. A clean part shows nothing: no “0 warnings”, no green dot.
